Go-karting has always been an American passion; we’ve grown up with go karts when we were kids and remember how much fun we’ve during our time, let your kid experience the same excitement and fun with the Razor Ground Force Drifter. With the Ground Force Drifter, your kid could do 180 drifts and turn corners like a pro. Guaranteed fun for the little tot, and for the rest of the family as well.
The Razor Ground Force Drifter is made of Sturdy steel construction so quite durable and can take a scrapping or two. It has a low profile moulded aluminium upgraded drifter wheels with solid rubber tires and super slider POM rear wheels that will guarantee an easy drift on the street over and over again.
The Force Drifter has great control features that make manoeuvring a cinch for the rider: updated rear axle makes for significantly enhanced manoeuvrability steering, and hand-operated rear brakes will give the rider optimum drifting control. The Drifter also has variable speed, thumb-trigger acceleration control that helps get the Force Drifter up to speeds of 12mph, easy.
The Razor Drifter is equipped with a variable-speed, chain-driven motor that operates with less noise than any gas powered engine ever could. It’s powered by two 12-volt sealed lead acid battery system, and can give up to 45 minutes of drive time on a full charge—more, depending on the rider’s weight. Charge time will be approximately 12 hours.
Safe and Stable
The go kart’s low centre of gravity will make hard to topple over even during high speeds, with the Drifter’s speed itself going up to 12 miles per hour. Aside from the sturdy steel frame and race-tuned chassis, other safety features such as a safety flag, durable bucket seat and shoulder seat strap make sure that the rider will have a safe as well as a fun riding experience. The Razor Ground Force Drifter can support rider weight of up to 140lbs.
Depending on conditions such as the rider’s weight and rough terrain like rough pavements, the rear wheels might be susceptible to wear and tear, and may need to be replaced in less than six months. This will be subject to usage, of course, but Razor has a website that will assist you with purchasing a new set replacement in such an event.
What Others Are Saying About Razor Ground Force Drifter
These motorcross bike appear to be right up there with some of the best sellers. Almost all of the reviews I found were very good. On Amazon and consumer sites, there was an average rating of 4.5 out of 5. Here are some of the comments:
- “This GoKart is awesome. I got this for my son for his 8th birthday. It was a HUGE hit. I tried it first and it’s very safe, as long as your kid doesn’t run at full speed all the time or turn at high speeds. My son is very careful and it’s a ton of fun. I highly recommend this.”
- “Was Santa’s present for my 9 yr old daughter who’s having a blast with it. Arrived as promised, 2nd day, well packed, no blemishes. The initial charge was overnight and lasted the whole day, subsequent charges good for about 2-3 hrs of play. Lots of fun.”
- “Santa brought this to our son for Christmas. We wanted a gas powered go-cart but they were hard to find and pricey. For 250.00 this go cart is worth every penny. Battery life is not very long compared to the charge time. Looking into purchasing an extra battery. Tires have not worn out yet like some reviews I read but you can purchase additional online from a razor. My son laughs and screams up and down the street and sidewalk! He loves it!!”
- “I was sceptical buying this item from reading the reviews. After the first week of use, it has been a big hit with my boys. I actually am surprised at how easy it was to put together, how fast it is and the drifting capabilities of it. I definitely can see why the rear wheels will need to be replaced down the road but overall a very nice piece. Absolutely recommend for children 7-10.”
There will be some assembly required, but it won’t take more than an hour even for those less mechanically inclined. Some assembly tools will be included in the package as well. As with most go-karts, the Ground Force Drifter works best in the smooth pavement and is designed for safe neighbourhoods and controlled environments with minimal to no car activities and other potential traffic hazards, and should not be used on public streets and roads. This, however, should not detract anybody from getting their hands on a go-kart, especially one as slick as the Razor Ground Force Drifter. Getting one would be an experience that your kid will always remember with great fondness.
